Naturwissenschaftliches und Medizinisches Institut an der Universität Tübingen

The NMI Natural and Medical Sciences Institute in Reutlingen is a non-profit foundation which is a member of the Baden-Württemberg Innovation Alliance. It conducts application-oriented research at the interface of bio- and material sciences. It is involved in application-oriented research at the interface between the life sciences and material science. An interdisciplinary team of scientists is developing new technologies for companies and public research sponsors in the areas of pharma and biotechnology and biomedical technology. Since 1985, the NMI has developed into a stable bridge between science and industry, and plays an important hinge function. 

 

Center for Nanoanalysis 

Materials Insight
The NMI's Nanoanalytics Center has a wide range of analytical systems for nanoanalytics, covering length scales from cm to the atomic scale and achieving detection limits down to a few ppm. The Nanoanalytics Center has successfully contributed its scientific and analytical knowledge and methodological expertise to public-funded research projects, bilateral innovation projects with industrial partners, and for service analytics.
