Coating and lamination in the automotive area

Especially in the automotive area, textiles have gained more and more importance. Fibre-based materials have not only been used as seat covers in the vehicle interior, or as roof lining or A, B, or C column trim, but also in hidden areas. For textiles that are integrated in the vehicle interior, OEMs have specified special requirements with respect to their reaction to fire. Moreover, emission values of materials used in the interior, and their VOC values (volatile organic compounds), have grown in significance.
